  This review is way over-due!
  I first went to Karen Walker years ago (before reviews were in vogue). At the time, we lived near Washington, DC and many of her clients were big wigs from the hill.
  I had very long, very thick hair cut in a simple, straight across style. Easy, right? NO! For some reason, other than Karen, no other stylist could get it quite right. When Karen cut it, I could go months before having to return for a trim. It would grow out perfectly.
  Years later, she moved! Out of state- to NC!
  Then my hair changed drastically due to a medical condition. I won’t bore you with all the horror hair-cut stories that followed. O’k, they were not all horror stories, but some were and others just not what I was trying for.
  When I moved to NC, I looked Karen up and learned she styled hair at the Halo Salon in Davidson, NC, not far from where I live.
  Now, back under her skilled scissors, I have the hair style I have been striving for- but could not get anyone else to achieve. She actually hears and understands what I am saying and does it! (AND now, without the DC prices- bonus!) Very happy!
  Karen also has a great eye for color. I highly recommend!
